LA, Aug (SF).- Scarlett Johansson leads again – for the second year in a row – the annual ranking produced by the magazine “Forbes” of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses.

Johansson, 34, earned $ 15.5 million more than in 2018, mainly due to the immense global success of “Avengers: Endgame,” the final chapter of the saga, for which he earned $ 35 million.

The actress will resume the “Black Widow” (Black Widow) layer again in 2020 for a homonymous ‘spin-off’ movie. But even though Johansson and his cohorts on the list earned more than $ 20 million, pay inequality is still alive in Hollywood.

Johansson earned a total of $ 56 million over the past year, but that amount ranks eighth in the combined list of best-paid actors and actresses.

By way of comparison, Robert Downey Jr., co-star of Johansson’s “Avengers,” won about 55 million for his role as Iron Man in “Endgame.”

According to the classification of “Forbes” of the highest paid actors in the world, published on Wednesday, Downey Jr. ranks third with 66 million dollars in total, behind fellow ‘avenger’ Chris Hemsworth (76.4 million) and Dwayne ‘La Roca’ Johnson (USD 89.4 million).

In the women’s list was second Sofia Vergara, a veteran of the industry but recently arrived on the list, who officiated as a star of the comedy “Modern Family” and earned 44.1 million dollars between June 1, 2018 and June 1 of 2019.

Third and fourth, respectively, were Reese Witherspoon (with USD 35 million) and Nicole Kidman (USD 34 million), co-stars of the series “Big Little Lies.”
