No Borders, Aug.- If you love meeting new people, trying foreign dishes, taking pictures in landscapes steals breath, or just traveling, Chile could be on your list of destinations to visit.

Where to go in Chile?

“I think that for a tourist to have a general idea of the country, he has to visit the North, the central zone and the South, and see the fjords and volcanoes that are in the area,” recommends the James Castillo from Buenos Aires.

The south of Chile has a thick nature that provides a unique “look”; It is divided into the region of lakes and Patagonia and has a strong German influence. It has a micro climate and it rains and it is cold all year, even more in the winter.

Castillo, who also shares the photographs, says that the Chilean geography is very diverse.

The Atacama Desert, one of the driest in the world, has a unique mysticism. Very cold at night and super hot during the day, with incredible colors in the dunes. In addition, it blooms once a year between the months of September to November.

“I think visiting San Pedro de Atacama (located in the Calama region, in the middle of the desert) is a mandatory visit for any tourist who wants to get an idea of what the North of the country is like. It has attractions like the Moon Valley, among other”.

Santiago and Valparaiso have a very rich cultural life with museums of the naval history of the country, the houses of Pablo Neruda and Gabriela Mistral, theaters, traditional neighborhoods, libraries, event centers, among others.

The constructions in Chile, especially the skyscrapers, are doubly admirable since in addition to their size they are anti-seismic, like all the constructions of that South American country.

In Chile, the strongest earthquakes on the planet have been recorded, and telluric movements are quite frequent but, in most cases, there have been no regrets of great loss.

Chilean food?

If you are a lover of the fruits of the sea you will find in the Chilean food many points in favor because the coast of this country is in the south of the Pacific, so it has a delicious variety of fresh seafood.

In addition, typical Chilean dishes have an important base in beef such as pine empanadas (ground beef), Humitas, casserole or chicken, Porotos, Charquican, Machas a la Parmesana, Caldillo de congrio and Malaya.
