Tennessee, jul (SF).- The Loretto County Police, in the state of Tennessee (USA), has warned the popun that getting rid of their methamphetamine through the toilet can cause the substance, when dissolved in the water, end up generating addicted alligators to this drug, local media reported Tuesday.

“We have already seen the effect on ducks, geese and other birds that frequent our ponds and it makes us shudder to think what some totally drugged animals could do,” the local police department warned in a statement released through Facebook, which was made echo today the local television channel 6 ABC Action News.

The statement assures that the forces of order have already had to deal with “enough” animals drugged with methamphetamines in recent weeks, so it seems a matter of time before any of the alligators that inhabit this wetland area ends up ingesting the drug.
